Havelock Pop Warner Football and Cheer will have their end of the year Awards Ceremony on Monday, November 16, 2015 at 6:00 pm.  We will be recognizing our participants and volunteers at the Havelock High School Auditorium.  This will also be the night that all parents will cast their votes for the 4 positions that need to be filled for the 2016 season. We look forward to seeing everyone there to close out the season.  The following positions are open for Nominations:  Vice President, Treasurer, Equipment Coordinator, and Football Coordinator.

The Pop Warner Mission:

The mission of Pop Warner Little Scholars, Inc. is to enable children to benefit from participation in team sports and activities in a safe and structured environment. Through this active participation, Pop Warner programs teach fundamental values, skills and knowledge that children will use throughout their lives.
Pop Warner Little Scholars, Inc. (PWLS) is a non-profit organization that provides youth football, cheer and dance programs for participants in 41 states and several countries around the world. Consisting of approximately 400,000 young people ranging from ages 5 to 16 years old, PWLS is the largest youth football program in the United States.

Safe Playing Environment

  • Players are matched by age and weight levels.
  • There are strict mandatory equipment requirements.
  • Pop Warner provides Coaching Clinics and Risk Management Training.
  • An enforced national rule book incorporates time-tested rules.
  • A full-time executive staff supports all local associations and assists in sound policy creation.



              Refunds/Withdrawals/Insufficient Funds & Fees

We recognize that some participants may have to withdraw from Havelock Pop Warner for various personal reasons.  No refunds will be issued under any circumstance after August 9th. All refunds are handled on a case by case basis and amounts vary.  If withdrawal occurs April 13th through June 30th, the parent must email footballcoordinator@havelock-popwarner.com for Football and cheercoordinator@havelock-popwarner.com for Cheer in order to request the full refund amount. Partial refunds may be issued from July 1st through August 9th, however, all refunds are subject to Board approval. No refund, regardless of the nature, will be given after August 9th.  Coaches are not responsible for initiating refund process for a player. Parent or guardian of the player assumes full responsibility for initiating the refund process. All requests must be made via email---refund requests will not be accepted over the phone.  
Please allow 3-4 weeks for your refund and any deposited checks to be processed and returned to you by mail. A fee of $25.00 will be assessed on all returned checks
